Reftis - Belly

This is a knife I made for my father; again with a design that just appeared on the steel as I worked it. On that note, I started with different stock than the others, and worked it differently, lending to the mirror finish on the blade which I'm rather happy with.

The handle was made out of a small piece of Padauk that I happened to be able to squeeze in the two halves perfectly, with only sawdust left over. It was bright orange before I sanded it to gloss with linseed oil, and after shaping it I looked as though I had dived into a bag of Cheetos.

I'm rather pleased with it overall and, perhaps more importantly, so is my father.
